On January 31, 2021, Ambassador of Ukraine Yevhen Mykytenko met with the Speaker of the Senate of the Arab Republic of Egypt Counselor Abd El-Wahab Abd El-Razek in the presence of the Senate’s General Secretary Counselor Mahmoud Etman and Assistant Foreign Minister for Parliamentary Affairs Ambassador Assem Hanafy.

Ukrainian diplomats discussed with Egyptian parliamentarians a wide range of issues of bilateral cooperation in political, economic, scientific and humanitarian fields.

The parties underlined the importance of exchanging of visits of parliamentary delegations.

Yevhen Mykytenko delivered a letter to the Speaker of the Senate from the Head of Ukrainian Parliament Dmytro Razumkov congratulating Counselor Abd El-Wahab Abd El-Razek on his entry into office as Head of the recently reestablished and newly elected Upper Chamber of the Egyptian Parliament.
