An important impulse for building cultural and humanitarian cooperation with Sudan is the foundation under the auspices of the Honorary consulate of Ukraine in Sudan of the Ukrainian House in Khartoum.

A role of the Ukrainian House will be strengthening ties between Ukrainians living in Sudan and meeting their cultural and informational needs. First of all it is important for Ukrainian women who are married to Sudanese citizens.

Ukraine-Sudan cooperation in educational sphere develops successfully. As of the beginning of 2019, 332 Sudanese students study in Ukraine. They are mostly interested in getting higher education in Ukraine in the medical sphere, in engineering and technology. Besides they come to Ukraine for post-graduate studies.
