On March 10, 2012, H.E. Mr. Yevhen Kyrylenko, Ambassador of Ukraine to the Arab Republic of Egypt, took part in the 137th meeting of the Council of the League of Arab States at the foreign ministers’ level.

The Arab Foreign Ministers discussed their joint achievements since the last ministerial meeting, as well as underlined the importance of joining efforts to overcome the recent challenges in the region.

H.E. Mr. Sergei Lavrov, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation, spoke at the meeting, informing the participants of the meeting of Russia’s position on topical regional issues, paying special attention to the situation in Syria.
