On the occasion of completion of his diplomatic mission in Cairo Ambassador of Ukraine Yevhen Mykytenko held a meeting with the Egyptian Prime-minister Ahmed Nazif, during which the sides discussed considerable progress and further prospects in the development of bilateral relations, in trade growth between the countries, and in the improvement of relations in such spheres as industry, agriculture, education, science and technics, tourism.

The sides reached the agreement to hold the Sixth meeting of the Intergovernmental Ukraine-Egypt Commission on Trade, Economic, Scientific and Technical Cooperation in the second half of November this year. The Prime-minister of Egypt Ahmed Nazif invited the Prime-minister of Ukraine Mykola Azarov to pay a visit to Egypt in the same time. Ambassador of Ukraine hold meetings with other members of the Egyptian government, parliament and businessmen, who work with Ukraine.

Ceremonial reception took place in the Embassy of Ukraine on the occasion of Ambassador’s departure. Concluding his work in Egypt Ambassador Yevhen Mykytenko thanked the guests for mutual efforts in the development of Ukraine-Egypt relations.
