On November 23-25, 2010 the Sixth meeting of the Intergovernmental Ukraine-Egypt Commission on Trade, Economic, Scientific and Technical Cooperation will take place in Cairo.

The Head of the Ukrainian part of the Commission is the Minister of Industrial Policy of Ukraine Dmytro Kolesnikov, the Head of the Egyptian part - Minister of International Cooperation of the Arab Republic of Egypt Faiza Abulnaga.

The members of the Commission will discuss the present condition of the bilateral cooperation, as well as the issues of strengthening cooperation in the sphere of trade, industry, investments, agriculture, water resources, energy, oil and gas, information technology, education, culture and tourism.

During his stay in Cairo the Minister Dmytro Kolesnikov will hold meetings with the Minister for Military Production of ARE Dr. Sayed Meshaal, Minister of Transport of ARE Eng. Alla El-Deen Mohamed Fahmy, the Head of the Arab Organization of Industrialization Lt. Gen. Hamdy Weheba, and with the Egyptian businessmen.

Within the framework of the Commission the Ukraine-Egypt Business Forum is scheduled for November 25, 2010. 20 Ukrainian businessmen are expected to participate in the event.

At the end of the work of the Commission the Prime-minister of Ukraine Mykola Azarov and the Prime-minister of Egypt Ahmed Nazif will participate in the signing ceremony of bilateral documents. The Head of the Government of Ukraine is visiting Egypt on November 24-25, 2010
