On February 24 in the frames of the International Exhibition for Cultural Services, which was organized in Cairo by El Sawy Wheel Cultural Center, the Embassy of Ukraine in Egypt presented the exposition dedicated to the 140th anniversary of the birth of Lesya Ukrainka.

The exhibition was visited by the representatives of official and art circles, students and youth. In the frames of the Ukrainian exposition visitors got acquainted with the works of the great Ukrainian writer and poet. Special attention was paid to the poetry “Spring in Egypt” which was written 100 years ago in Helwan near Cairo. During the opening session of this International event the counselor of the Ukrainian Embassy Oleksandr Yurov presented his song “Made in Ukraine”.

Representatives of the European Union, Austria, USA, China, Greece and other countries as well as non-governmental organizations took part in the exhibition. The event was widely covered by the local Media.
