Ukraine and Egypt Sign a Treaty on the Transfer of Sentenced Persons

On June 1, 2021, during a video conference of the Ministries of Justice of the two countries, the "Treaty between Ukraine and the Arab Republic of Egypt on the Transfer of Sentenced Persons" was signed.
From the Egyptian side in Cairo, the document was signed by Egyptian Justice Minister Judge Omar Marwan. In Kyiv, from the Ukrainian side, the Treaty was signed by the Minister of Justice of Ukraine Denys Malyuska. Ambassador of Ukraine in Egypt Yevhen Mykytenko was present during the signing.
To complete the formal procedures, the signed documents will be send through diplomatic channels to Kyiv and Cairo respectively to be submitted for ratification by the Parliaments of the two countries.
