On February 25, the Ambassador of Ukraine to Egypt Hennadii Latii met with the Minister of Tourism of Egypt Ms. Rania Al-Mashat to discuss the positive dynamics of bilateral cooperation in tourism and the importance of its further development.

In 2018, more than 1 million 170 thousand Ukrainians visited Egypt making the second largest number of foreign tourists.

HE Latii expressed hope that Ukraine will become a more popular destination among Egyptians traveling to Europe. He presented to the Minister booklets promoting tourism in Ukraine and informed her about the upcoming international tourist salons in Kyiv in March and October this year.

Minister Rania al-Mashat expressed friendly interest in Ukraine and readiness to pay a visit to Kyiv.

The Ambassador discussed with the Minister the importance of establishing permanent cooperation and dialogue on the governmental level to promote tourism development in both directions.
