It was the third consecutive year that representatives of Ukrainian community in Egypt and their families, diplomats from the Embassy of Ukraine gathered together on March 10 to mark the 204-th anniversary of Taras Shevchenko’s birth and Mothers’ day, which will be celebrated in Egypt this month.

Photo exhibition and  a story about the prominent Ukrainian poet’s life and creative activities, recital of his poems, a quiz, children’s drawings, games and entertainments for children and adults –such was the atmosphere of this festive event.
