On the occasion of the 25^th anniversary of establishing diplomatic relations between Ukraine and Egypt the concert by the famous «Kyiv-Classic” Chamber Symphonic Orchestra led by People’s Artist of Ukraine, Ambassador of Ukrainian Culture, Conductor of the National Opera of Ukraine, UNESCO Artist for Peace Herman Makarenko was performed on September 28 in the Main Hall of the National Cultural Center “Cairo Opera House”.

Dr. Inès Abdel Daїm, General Director of Cairo Opera House, took part in the concert as the Guest flute player.

Mr. Hennadii Latii, Ambassador of Ukraine, addressed the audience before the start of the event which was attended by Egyptian state officials and members of diplomatic corps.

Musical compositions of classic and modern Ukrainian and foreign composers, also Egyptian, had been a part of concert’s program. 

The performance was warmly welcomed by the audience and had a great success.

On September 25 «Kyiv-Classic” Orchestra had another successful concert in Sharm el-Sheikh.
