On January 22, 2012, Ambassador of Ukraine to the Arab Republic of Egypt Yevhen Kyrylenko held a meeting and negotiations with the Governor of Alexandria Osama El-Fouli.

During the meeting the sides stressed the importance to continue the tradition of twinning, laid in 1968 by the appropriate agreement.

The interlocutors discussed possibilities to deepen bilateral cooperation, in particular, in the spheres of new technologies, solar energy, and waste recycling, as well as possible areas for Ukrainian investments.
