A festive event devoted to the 25-th anniversary of Ukraine’s Independence was held on September 17 in “Heliopolis Sports Club” in Cairo.

Representatives of Ukrainian community in Egypt, Ukrainian companies working in Egypt, employees of the Embassy of Ukraine and their families took part in the celebration.

Videos and stories about Ukraine and its history, regions and cities, children’s drawings had been presented to the participants of the event. Children recited poems and took part together with their parents in numerous competitions and games.
