On April 18, 2012, Ambassador of Ukraine to the Arab Republic of Egypt Yevhen Kyrylenko held a meeting with the Speaker of the People’s Assembly of Egypt Mohamed Saad El-Katatni. During the meeting the sides discussed important issues of bilateral interest.

Special attention was devoted to the issue of maintaining high-level political dialogue, as well as inter-parliamentary cooperation, taking into consideration inner political changes in Egypt. The sides also touched upon the issues of further development of the legal base of bilateral relationship, as well as important moments of Ukraine-Egypt trade and economic cooperation.
