On July 28, 2020, Ambassador of Ukraine Yevhen Mykytenko met with the Chairman of the Egypt-Ukraine Parliamentary Friendship Group, Member of the House of Representatives of the Arab Republic of Egypt Mr. Ahmed as-Seggini.

Ukrainian diplomats discussed some issues of interparliamentary cooperation, including the exchange of visits of delegations.

Yevhen Mykytenko delivered a letter to the Egyptian deputies from the Chairman of the newly formed Group on Interparliamentary Relations with Egypt in the Parliament of Ukraine and congratulated them on Egypt’s National Day of the July 23 Revolution, as well as the upcoming Muslim holiday of Eid al-Fitr.
