In accordance with the decision of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine dated 13.03.2020, a decision was made to introduce temporary restrictions on the entry of foreigners into Ukraine in order to prevent the spread of acute respiratory illness caused by coronavirus (COVID-19).

From March 16, 2020 from 00 h. 01 min (Kyiv time) till April 03, 2020 no foreigners and stateless persons will be admitted through the state border of Ukraine, including in transit.

This restriction will not apply to foreigners and stateless persons in the following categories:

- employees of foreign diplomatic missions, consular posts and missions of international organizations accredited in Ukraine, as well as their families;

- persons who have documented a permanent or temporary residence permit in Ukraine.

The regime of departure of foreigners and stateless persons from the territory of Ukraine remains unchanged.
