Dear friends!

Due to the numerous comments on social media profiles of the Embassy, e-mails and phone calls, we would like to inform you of the following.

1) The employees of the Embassy, as well as all of you, do not know the exact dates of the resumption of scheduled and charter flights between Ukraine and Egypt. This will depend on many factors, in particular, on the epidemiological situation in the world, bilateral agreements between the relevant authorities of our countries etc.
So far it is known only that the Government of Ukraine decided to resume international flights from 15.06.2020, and the Government of Egypt has announced a similar decision to resume both scheduled and charter international flights from 01.07.2020.
Embassy`s staff also have various circumstances that require a flight to Ukraine and back, so we are looking forward to the resumption of normal flights together with all of you.
Please follow the information on official and news sources of Ukraine and Egypt, as well as follow the announcements on the website and Facebook page of the Embassy.
The Embassy does not have any additional information other than that it constantly shares with you on our web resources .

2) The Embassy does not currently plan to hold external consular sessions. We understand, that some citizens need to receive consular services outside the Embassy, but we can plan out external sessions not earlier than the epidemiological situation in Egypt stabilizes.
Please be aware that holding such sessions currently endangers not only the health of the consuls and all of you, but also the staff of the travel company's offices, which usually provide us with premises for external sessions.
We will inform you additionally and in advance about the holding of external consular sessions as soon as it becomes possible.
