Today, on October 14, 2021, Ambassador of Ukraine to Egypt Yevhen Mykytenko held a working meeting with Assistant Foreign Minister of Egypt for European Affairs Ambassador Badr Abdel Atty and the newly appointed Assistant Foreign Minister of Egypt for Consular Affairs Ambassador Salah A. El-Sadek.

The diplomats discussed the agenda of the upcoming bilateral events, including the preparations for the 8^th meeting of the Intergovernmental Joint Commission scheduled for the second half of December this year, as well as the track of ratification of some important bilateral documents by the parliaments of Ukraine and Egypt.

The parties expressed satisfaction with the trade turnover between the two countries that amounted to more than 1 billion US dollars during the 8 months of this year. They also noted that more than 1 million tourists from Ukraine visited Egypt during this period.
