On September 5, 2012, the Ambassador of Ukraine in Egypt Yevhen Kyrylenko took part in the opening of 138th session of the Council of Foreign ministers of League of Arab States countries.

President of the Arab Republic of Egypt M.Morsi gave a speech during the opening ceremony, in which he emphasized also the action plan of Egypt on development of relations with neighboring countries.

During the session the chairmanship in the Council of the Arab League was transmitted from Kuwait to Lebanon.

Foreign Minister of CyprusDr. E.Kozakou−Marcoullis, as the representative of the country which holds the chairmanship in the European Union, greeted the guests of the event with a speech.
