On November 03-04, 2019 the delegation of the Ministry of Economic Development, Trade and Agriculture of Ukraine, headed by the Deputy Minister, Trade Representative of Ukraine Mr. Taras Kachka.

Within the framework of visit the Ukrainian-Egyptian consultations were held on the Egyptian safeguard measures imposed to Ukrainian metal products.

Mr. Taras Kachka was also received by the Minister of Investment and International Cooperation of Egypt, Co-chair of the Ukrainian-Egyptian Joint Committee Dr. Sahar Nasr, Minister of Supply and Internal Trade of Egypt Dr. Ali Moselhi and Deputy Minister of Agriculture of Egypt Dr. Mona Mehrez.

The prospects of intensification of Ukrainian-Egyptian trade and economic cooperation were discussed during the meetings.

Ambassador Yevhen Mykytenko and diplomats of the Ukrainian mission in Cairo also took part in negotiations.
