On May 16, Ambassador of Ukraine to Egypt Yevhen Mykytenko received director M. Sturm and stage designer S. Ellrich from Germany to discuss the ongoing arrangements for the premiere of Verdi’s “Aida” to be staged in the ancient Temple of Queen Hatshepsut in Luxor on October 26 and 28, 2019.

Many international and Egyptian companies are involved in the project implementation. It is planned that more than 100 musicians and singers from Ukraine will take part in the performance.
