On April 11, 2018 high-profile talks on the level of Director General for the Middle East and Africa of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Mrs. Myroslava Shcherbatiuk and the Deputy Assistant Minister for Eastern and Southern European Affairs of the Ministry of foreign affairs of Egypt Nahla El Zawahry were held in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Egypt.

The two sides discussed issues of bilateral cooperation in political, trade, academic and consular areas. Particular attention was paid to promoting bilateral contacts.   

The meeting of the Head of Ukrainian delegation Mrs. Myroslava Shcherbatiuk with the Assistant foreign Minister for European affairs Mr. Amr Ramadan was held on the same day.
