Ambassador’s meeting with the Director of Bibliotheca Alexandrina

Mr.Hennadii Latii, Ambassador of Ukraine, on February 12 had a meeting with Prof. Mostafa El-Feki, Director of Bibliotheca Alexandrina and discussed with him a number of issues of mutual interest.
In particular, they discussed the possibility of continuing traditional annual visits of Bibliotheca Alexandrina by Ukrainian diplomats and members of Ukrainian community and Egypt with their families to lay flowers to the bronze plaque devoted to a prominent Ukrainian writer and poetess Lesya Ukrainka.
The Ambassador handed over to the Director of Bibliotheca Alexandrina 5 books of Taras Shevchenko’s poetry in Arabic and 10 books of Lesya Ukrainka’s poetry and letters also published in Arabic with Ukrainian Embassy’s assistance.
