Representatives of  the Ministry of Defense of Egypt, in particular Assistant of the Chief of General Staff, diplomats, representatives of public and media, as well as Ukrainian community in Egypt and delegation of Ukrainian company "NIBULON", headed by Director General O.Vadaturskyy, which was on a visit in Cairo these days, took part in the event.

Mr. Hennadii Latii, Ambassador of Ukraine and Colonel Alexander Chernov, Defense Attaché in Egypt congratulated Armed Forces of Ukraine  personnel on the occasion of their professional Day and informed the attendees of the event about the important role played by Ukrainian army in confronting Russian aggression.

Special emphasis was put on Ukrainian Army’s readiness to defend resolutely Ukrainian State's independence, sovereignty and territorial integrity.

The guests observed a Moment of silence to pay tribute to the soldiers who sacrificed their lives for the protection of Ukraine’s territorial integrity, visited a photo exhibition dedicated to the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
