Meeting with the Head of the Maritime Transport Sector

On May 18, 2017 Councilor of the Embassy Mr. Yevhen Zhupeyev met with the Head of the Maritime Transport Sector of Egypt Rear Admiral Mr. Tarek Ghanem.
The topical issues of bilateral cooperation related to the safety in maritime transport as well as prospects of direct contacts between Ukrainian and Egyptian seaports were discussed.
The Ukrainian side paid increased attention to the issues linked with the situation around the closure by Ukraine of its seaports in the temporarily occupied territory of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea.
