Commemoration of the 31-th anniversary of Chernobyl disaster

On April 29, the Embassy of Ukraine and representatives of Ukrainian community organized a photography exhibition and evening-Requiem for the victims of Chornobyl tragedy.
The event was attended by Ukrainian citizens living in Cairo, Embassy staff and their families. The guests shared their memories and information regarding the tragic event in Ukrainian history and read the poetry about courageous heroes who were risking their lives and health to save the humanity from the detrimental effect of radioactive contamination and its further spreading.
