During the meeting the interlocutors discussed the importance of resumption of inter-parliament cooperation between our States and the ways of its further development. The attention was payed also to widening of the legislation base of our bilateral relations, particularly to ratification of earlier signed agreements.

The Head of the Parliament of the ARE was informed about the current situation in the temporarily occupied territory of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea and Eastern Ukraine, as well as about the recent statement of the European Parliament which condemns the decision of the Russian occupation authority to ban the Mejlis (a key representative body) of the Crimean Tatar people.
