On August 24, 2015 the opening of the Ukrainian Cultural Center in Hurghada was announced. The first Ukrainian Cultural Center was created by joint initiative of Ukrainian Community and an Egyptian businessman under support of the Embassy of Ukraine in Egypt.

The solemn celebration of 24-th anniversary of Independence Day of Ukraine took place at the premises of the Center. Ukrainian residents of Hurghada and Mr. H.Latii, Ambassador of Ukraine in the ARE, have participated in the celebration ceremony.
