On August 19-20, 2015 the delegation of the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade of Ukraine, headed by the Deputy Minister – Commercial Representative of Ukraine Mr. Nataliia Mykolska, paid a working visit to Cairo with the purpose of the Ukrainian-Egyptian consultations with regard to the imposition of a safeguard measures by Egypt on imports of Steel Rebar.

Within the framework of her visit, Mr. Nataliia Mykolska also held meetings with the Minister of Industry, Trade and Small & Medium Enterprises of the Arab Republic of Egypt Mr. Mounir Abdel Nour and the leaders of the Federation of Egyptian Chambers of Commerce.

 During the mentioned meeting the discussion was concentrated on the prospects of Ukrainian-Egyptian Trade & Economic cooperation particularly by having next Session of the Ukrainian-Egyptian Joint Committee on Economic, Technical and Scientific Cooperation and Business Forum for business groups of both Ukraine and Egypt.
