On the occasion of the Independence Day of Ukraine Mr. Ruslan Nechai, Chargé d'Affaires of Ukraine in Egypt, had a meeting with Mr. A. El-Menesi, Chamberlain of Protocol, Office of the President of the ARE. Mr. A. El-Menesi, on behalf of H.E. Mr. A. Al-Sisi, President of the Arab Republic of Egypt, conveyed greetings to H.E. Mr. P.Poroshenko, President of Ukraine; H.E. Mr. A. Yatseniuk, Prime Minister, as well as to the entire Ukrainian people on the occasion of the 23^rd anniversary of our country’s Independence.

Urgent issues of the bilateral relationship between Ukraine and Egypt were discussed at the meeting, and an exchange of information on current political situation in both countries was also made, particularly, the situation in the Eastern regions of Ukraine.
