A meeting on the occasion of the Victory Day was held in Cairo, in the Embassy of Ukraine in the Arab Republic of Egypt.  

During the event, the invaluable contribution made by the Ukrainian people to the victory over fascism was emphasized - millions of Ukrainians never returned from the battlefields with the Hitler’s forces. More millions of Ukrainians were killed as a result of Ukraine’s occupation during WWII, wherein Ukrainian people fought to the finish and never accepted it.
