On March 24, 2014, a press conference devoted to the current situation in Ukraine was held at the Embassy of Ukraine in Cairo.

During the event, Ambassador of Ukraine to Egypt Mr. Yevhen Kyrylenko answered numerous questions by local journalists about the current situation in Ukraine and appealed to Egypt and other foreign countries to support   sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine. Special attention was paid to the forthcoming UN General Assembly Session (to be held on March 27, 2014) where a draft Resolution on the “Territorial Integrity of Ukraine” should be voted.
